Larry David is back for another season of nonstop comedy on the HBO show, Curb Your Enthusiasm.  Besides from the usual Larry who: gets in fights with everyone, argues about meaningless things like who’s invited to a dinner party, how corrupt the laundry system is, and who he should thank for paying the bill, he is going to show a loving side of the character’s in a quest to get back his wife Cheryl.

The show this year is centered around the reunion of the Seinfeld cast.  Curb’s main character, Larry David was a writer and executive producer for Seinfeld.  The show ended in 1997 after a seven year run.  The inaugural Curb Your Enthusiasm season first aired in 2001.  Over the eight years that it has been on HBO, every season seems to get better and better.

This year, the family who was adopted by Larry after Hurricane Katrina, is still living in the David mansion.  Unfortunately Larry’s “girlfriend” Loretta, has been diagnosed with a severe illness.  It’s going to take years of hard work and dedication on Larry’s behalf to make sure she is always cared for.  For a man that likes to play golf on weekends and watch his beloved TiVo, this is a problem for Larry.  He doesn’t have the time nor the compassion to help Loretta.  He therefore, offends Loretta’s doctor on purpose who then tells her to leave him.  Finally, Larry is free from the family besides Loretta’s brother and has nothing to worry about.

Now Larry is busy with creating a reunion show for Seinfeld to air on NBC in the show.  After Jerry Seinfeld hesitantly confirms that he will do the show, Larry is off to get the other stars of Seinfeld.  After eating lunch with Jason Alexander (George from Seinfeld) in a strangely decorated restaurant, and fighting about how much to tip the waiter, he is in.  Then Michael Richards (Kramer) agrees to be in the reunion show after his mind was captured by the photos in the restaurant.  Lastly, Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Elaine) commits to the show although Larry confronts her daughter about a supposed birthday party that she never went to.

The cast is in, and season seven is off to a great start.  In case you have never watched Curb before, let me personally say that it is “pretty-pretty-pretty-good.”
