It's like saying "Simon says..." or something.. School spirit, or any type of spirit, shouldn't be a mime activity. If the admins and the teachers in the school want kids to feel school pride and spirit, they should make it so we actually feel like we want to be here, and not like we're in jail. Even still... jails and schools were designed by the same people anyway, so what can anyone do anymore? Also, kids should run (or should be in charge of a club or group that runs) the pep rallies, not Ms. Cohen, or any teacher for that matter - unless they understand, and are willing to let us decide what provides the most spirit during the rallies. Word going around about our lame pep rallies just makes us "less spirited" anyway.. I hear stories about Spanish River's rallies or Boca High's..
